On November 17, 2025, against the backdrop of the country's unswerving implementation of the new development philosophy and promotion of high-quality economic development, the "Symposium on the Impact of Green Finance on the High-Quality Development of Local Economy" was successfully held in Huzhou. This symposium aimed to conduct an interim discussion on the research project titled "Green Finance Empowering the High-Quality Development of Local Economy: Huzhou's Practical Exploration and Effect Evaluation".
Under the guidance of the General Office of Huzhou Municipal People's Government and with the support of the World Resources Institute (WRI), the symposium was hosted by the Huzhou Green Finance and Sustainable Development Research Institute (HZGF) and co-organized by the Huzhou Green Finance Development Center. Experts and representatives from the Research Bureau of the People's Bank of China (PBC), the Counsellors' Office of the PBC, the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences (CAFS), the CICC Research Institute, the Beijing Green Exchange (BGX), the Zhejiang Branch of the PBC, the Huzhou Branch of the PBC, and the Huzhou Supervision Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration participated in the symposium both online and offline, providing insights and suggestions for the research project.
